Project and Sales Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare pre-qualification documentation
To understand technical requirements from the customer, ensuring accuracy of information in a timely manner
Ensure all required information is provided prior to commencement of the tender process
Provide detailed cost estimates for tender submissions, liaise with product principals and internal team in requesting quotations
Input quote details and data on CRM and keep system updated
Prepare and produce tender and full proposal documentation on qualified bids ensuring bid compliance
Produce bid support material as required
Liaise with product suppliers for technical information and competitive pricing
Attend bid clarifications and handover meetings
Assist in end-to-end projects for customers considering both the technical and the sales parts involved
Essential Skills and Competencies Required:
Good estimation skill in tender bid submission
Experienced in scoping and putting together large engineering projects
Ability to manage multiple enquiries and proposals for both external and internal
Desirables:
1-3 years of experience in business-to-business sales or similar areas.
Strong engineering / technical background
Fire and gas detection systems or oil & gas background is a plus
