The Project Sales & Proposal Engineer (PSPE) will be responsible for product brand development, FEED projects lobbying, tender proposal preparation and project management and execution.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

The Project Sales & Proposal Engineer (PSPE) performs the major function listed below. The position may require additional duties/responsibilities that may not be outlined below, and specific functions are subject to change.

  • Be flexible to be multi-tasking whenever required.
  • PSPE will be assigned a specific product group and will be required to apply what they have learned and strategized on creating needs to the designated customers.
  • Identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.
  • To coordinating and managing sales activities such as cold calling, meeting, presentation and related matters to Engineering/SI/Consultancies companies, eyeing the FEED projects opportunities.
  • To prepare tender proposal based on the customer requirements such as tenders etc.
  • To initiate the project planning and execution when the project is secured with the supervision of senior or Manager.
  • Research and analyse the market for new opportunities and develop attractive solutions & offerings and establish techno-commercial feasibility for the same.
  • Work closely with Area Sales Team to promote the assigned product brands to the end user market.
  • Work together with Marketing team to promote & make acknowledge of our water product in the market.

Qualification & Requirements:

The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to successfully perform this role. However, any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training, which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities, would be acceptable, subject to any legal/or regulatory requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in chemical/Process/Industrial/ Instrumentation/Analyzer/Environmental Engineering, or associate degree with 1 or more years’ experience in testing and commissioning of water/wastewater process analyzers/ Analysis equipment or Diploma with 2 or more years’ experience in Technical Sales/ Project Sales/ Proposal/ Project.
  • Must have experience in project sales or technical sales / 1-2 years’ work experience in tender and project environment preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
  • Proficient level of computer skills including MS Office.
  • Proven record of being reliable and accountable for all aspects of their job.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
